A vehicle hydroplaned and wrecked in standing water on Interstate 5 on Tuesday.

An Oregon State Police report said just before 6:00 p.m. troopers responded to the single-vehicle wreck in the northbound lanes near the Oakland exit. The driver, a California man, said his vehicle was traveling at about 65 miles per hour when the accident happened. The vehicle left the road, striking the center median and causing damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.

The driver was not hurt. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
