Roseburg Police cited 13 people for prohibited camping between Monday morning and early Tuesday.
In 7 separate incidents, officers issued citations to people who were camping in locations where it is no longer allowed, following the city’s recent ordinance regarding time, place and manner restrictions. 6 of the citations were given to people camping at the duck pond in the 1000 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. Other camping locations included the 1900 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard, the 2400 block of Northwest Edenbower Boulevard, the 400 block of Southeast Spruce Street, the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street, and at Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street.
Those cited ranged in age from 30 to 64. All were released after their citations were issued.
