Regular mail will not be delivered. Some banks and credit unions will not be open. The State of Oregon recognizes the day as Indigenous People’s Day, though state government offices remain open. Oregon has nine federally recognized tribes including the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians.
