Winston Police jailed a man Wednesday after he was found to be in possession of an alleged stolen vehicle out of Eugene.

The WPD report said at about 4:15 p.m. officers located the vehicle and the suspect behind a business in the 4400 block of Old Highway 99 South in Green. Officers took the 26-year old into custody without incident. He was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The suspect was detained without bail and was released on Thursday. The vehicle was towed from the scene so the owner could retrieve it at a later time.
