A Roseburg woman was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident on Thursday.

A Roseburg Police report said just after 4:20 p.m. officers responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of Northeast Stephens Street and NE Russel Avenue with one vehicle on fire. Officers arrived on the scene and put the fire out. The investigation determined that a pickup driver was attempting to merge onto Stephens and rear-ended a sedan.

The driver whose vehicle was hit was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center by ambulance. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
