The Douglas Forest Protective Association has scheduled prescribed pasture burns for Friday.

Public Information Officer Rachel Pope said all start times are tentative and dependent on morning weather:

Glide area:

*Starting at 10:00 a.m. with smoke visible from French Creek, Highway 138E and in Glide

*Starting at 12:00 p.m. in the Strader Road area. Smoke visible from Blacktop Hill, Glide, North Bank Road and Highway 138E

Oakland area:

*Baimbridge Road and Green Valley Road area. Smoke visible from Interstate 5 between milepost 139 and 140. Start time to be determined

Roseburg area:

*Smoke visible from Sunshine Road, North Bank Road and Highway 138E. Start time to be determined

Dillard area:

*Starting at 11:00 a.m. near the Dillard Mill with smoke visible from Winston, Dillard, Interstate 5 and Highway 42.
