In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
The Roseburg Folklore Society will have its 2nd annual Hometown Music Festival on Saturday October 14th.
The event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the outdoor stage behind Umpqua Valley Arts on West Harvard Avenue. Local groups featured will be:
*12:00 p.m. Oregon Old Time Fiddlers Association
*1:00 p.m. Oregon Bluegrass Association
*2:00 p.m. Roseburg Concert Chorale
*3:00 p.m. Winds of Umpqua Flute Circle
*4:00 p.m. Roseburg Folklore Society Singalong
The event is free but donations are accepted. Those attending should bring a blanket or a chair along with a picnic basket. Call 440-0684 for more information about the Hometown Music Festival.
