OREGON STATE POLICE JAIL MAN FOLLOWING TWO-VEHICLE WRECK

Oregon State Police jailed a man following a two-vehicle wreck on Tuesday night.

An OSP report said at 6:15 p.m. the crash occurred on Highway 38 two and a half miles east of Elkton. The driver of a pickup was injured in the accident and was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center by ambulance. The injured driver showed signs of intoxication and a search warrant was issued for a blood sample.

30-year old Brent Jones was charged with DUII, reckless driving, and three counts recklessly endangering another person. He was detained without bail and was released later in the evening. Both vehicles were towed from the accident scene.
