On Tuesday, Rogue-River Siskiyou National Forest Acting Forest Supervisor Jake Winn signed an update to the Emergency Area and Road Closure for the Flat Fire.

A Forest Service release said the change reduces the closure area and reopens roads adjacent to the fire area. The new order is effective through December 31st unless it is rescinded earlier.
