A Roseburg man was jailed for a reported strangulation incident early Saturday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 12:40 a.m. a 37-year old suspect allegedly choked a victim in the 2000 block of Northeast Stephens Street. The choke reportedly disrupted the normal breathing pattern for the victim. The man also allegedly shoved the victim out the door of the trailer which caused her to fall on the concrete.

The suspect was charged with a felony count of strangulation and for harassment. He was detained without bail.
