Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation, following an incident on Tuesday.

An RPD report said shortly after 9:30 a.m. a man was identified and found intoxicated and passed out at a business in the 100 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The officer was aware of the man’s parole stipulation stating he should not use intoxicating substances.

The 62-year old was taken into custody for violating his parole stipulations. During the incident, the man allegedly kicked an officer in the right shin. He was also charged with harassment and was detained without bail.
