A Days Creek woman was taken to the hospital after a single vehicle accident Monday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 2:00 p.m. the 24-year old was driving west in the 20000 block of Tiller Trail Road in the Days Creek area. A family member was following in a different vehicle. Both drivers said that one of the tires popped on the first vehicle as it was exiting a corner, which caused the vehicle to slide off the roadway.

The report said the tires were very worn and it looked like all the other three could pop at any time. The driver in the sedan that wrecked was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for non-serious injuries. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
