One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle wreck Sunday morning.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 8:40 a.m. two people were driving south in a pickup on North Old Pacific Highway in the Myrtle Creek area when their vehicle spun 180 degrees due to the road being wet. Their vehicle hit a pickup which was going northbound and had a trailer full of firewood.

The passenger in the first pickup was transported by ambulance to CHI Mercy Medical Center for chest and elbow pain. Both pickups were towed away.
