ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOLLOWING ALLEGED DUII INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged DUII incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 9:30 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a sedan after seeing it fail to stop before entering the roadway, in the 100 block of Southeast Templin Avenue. Officers contacted the driver who reportedly showed signs of impairment. The driver was identified as 49-year old Donald Armstrong. He was found to have a warrant for his arrest.

Armstrong consented to standard field sobriety tests and allegedly performed poorly. He was taken into custody. Armstrong was charged with DUII, no operator license, driving uninsured and for the warrant. He was held on $18,750 bail.
