A Roseburg man was cited by Roseburg Police for drinking in public Wednesday afternoon.

An RPD report said just after 3:30 p.m. officers responded to the 1700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard after a caller said a man was trespassing behind a business.

Officers contacted a 68-year old and found him to be heavily intoxicated. The man poured out the remainder of his beer and was released after the citation was issued.
