A Myrtle Creek man was jailed by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for a reported disorderly conduct incident.

A DCSO report said at 8:25 a.m. the 34-year old was allegedly yelling at utility workers and small children that were waiting for the school bus near the intersection of Gael Lane and Bill’s Road in the Myrtle Creek area. A deputy located the suspect and determined that he was clearly under the influence as he was agitated and holding a pair of scissors. The man dropped the scissors and was taken into custody.

His parole officer authorized a detainer for failure to report. The suspect was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and for the parole violation. He was detained without bail.
