The Canyonville Community Library is seeking two new board members.

Ideal candidates should have a strong passion for libraries and want to actively contribute to the growth and long-term success of the library.

Duties include:

*Assisting in policy making, administration, budgeting and pursuing ways to increase library funding and sustainability

*Attend and participate in the monthly board meeting, and special meetings as they arise

*Help plan for the library’s growth

*Advocate for the library

*Monitor and evaluate the overall effectiveness of the library

*Volunteer time and talents to help during open hours and special events
