Last week, State Representative Virgle Osborne was appointed to the Oversight Committee housed within the Office of Administrative Hearings.

A release said the committee is tasked with:

*Studying the operations of the Office of Administrative Hearings

*Make recommendations to the Governor and the Legislative Assembly that the committee deems necessary to increase effectiveness, fairness, and efficiencies of the office

*Make any recommendations for additional legislation governing the operations of the office

*Conduct other such studies as necessary to accomplish the purpose of the office

Osborne said, “I am very thankful for this additional opportunity to serve. I greatly look forward to working alongside my fellow committee members to accomplish the goals of the oversight committee and ensure that the Office of Administrative Hearings continues to work for all Oregonians”.
