A driver was taken to the hospital following a single vehicle wreck on Friday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said at approximately 12:30 p.m. a pickup was northbound near the Sutherlin exit when it rolled. The driver was already out of the vehicle laying down and was being assisted by medical personnel when a trooper arrived. The driver said he was trying to make the off ramp when he lost control, leading to the accident. The man said he was driving over 70 miles per hour when he wrecked.

The driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The pickup was towed from the scene.
