Roseburg Police jailed a man in a fraud case on Monday.

An RPD report said 31-year old Justin Vancil was contacted in the 400 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard after a caller said the man had fraudulently used someone else’s credit card to rent a motel room. Vancil was found to have been using a deceased person’s credit card. During the arrest, Vancil was allegedly found to have a violation amount of Fentanyl in his possession.

He was charged with fraudulent use of a credit card, computer crime, two counts of second-degree theft, second-degree forgery, for a violation amount of a Schedule 2 controlled substance and for identity theft. Vancil was held on $50,000 bail.
