Troopers with Oregon State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Interstate Five Sunday night just after 6:30 p.m.

An OSP report said several vehicles were in the northbound lanes near the landfill exit at milepost 121. A driver said the vehicles stopped in the middle of the freeway, due to trash cans being in the lane of travel. One driver said he slowed down but his vehicle skidded to the shoulder and hit the concrete barrier, damaging the front tire and ball joint. No one was injured. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
