Roseburg Police detained a juvenile for unlawful possession of marijuana by a person under the age of 21 on Thursday.

An RPD report said just after 1:00 p.m. officers responded to Jo Lane Middle School in the 2100 block of Northeast Vine Street after a caller said a 13-year old male was in possession of marijuana. Officers learned that the teen was on juvenile probation and had violated his conditional release. The juvenile’s probation officer authorized a detainer on him.

He was lodged at the Douglas County Juvenile Detention Center.
