The Roseburg office of the Oregon Department of Human Services is having its monthly First Thursday event outside for final time this year.

The monthly gathering of community resources will feature free haircuts, and a CDL truck simulation van for those who have considered truck driving as a career. Feeding Umpqua, the OSU Extension Service and Thrive Umpqua will provide an abundance of fresh produce and information about local wellness opportunities. Several organizations will have help related to children and family services. There will also be housing resource organizations, and many other community partners.

First Thursday runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the parking lot of ODHS on West Harvard Avenue. It will be held inside the building starting next month.
