Umpqua Health Alliance’s Community Advisory Council is now accepting funding applications in support of projects and programs that align with UHA’s Community Health Improvement Plan to further the health and wellbeing of Douglas County residents.
A UHA release said that since 2016, the CAC has allocated more than $2 million in CHIP funding. Previous funding has gone to support community gardens, children’s play equipment, wellness spaces for youth, community education services and other projects that have improved the health and wellness of local residents. This year, the application period has changed. Applicants have until the end of October to submit their applications for considering. The application can be found on UHA’s website at: https://www.umpquahealth.com/
