Roseburg Police jailed a man following an incident at a business Monday morning.

An RPD report said at 7:00 a.m. the 59-year old was in the 200 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard where he was allegedly rummaging through the trash and throwing it all over the ground. The suspect was confronted by employees and asked to clean up the mess and leave the property. The man reportedly refused both and yelled at the staff.

He was taken into custody and charged with second-degree criminal trespass and for offensive littering. Bail was set at $2,500.
