Roseburg Police cited a woman following a store incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said just after 6:30 p.m. officers contacted 39-year old Maria Harris at Big Lots in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street. Harris had previously been trespassed from the store for theft. The woman reportedly admitted to stealing items in the past after speaking with her about the previous incident. Harris allegedly attempted to steal nearly $40 worth of merchandise in this incident.

The woman consented to a search of purse, which allegedly produced 1.2 grams of methamphetamine. She was cited for first-degree trespass, third-degree theft and for possession of meth. Harris was released after the citation was issued.
