ROSEBURG POLICE CITE MAN FOR ALLEGED DRUG LAW VIOLATION

Roseburg Police cited a man for alleged drug law violation on Sunday.

An RPD report said just before 12:30 p.m. the 31-year old was allegedly slumped over in a vehicle in the 400 block of Southeast Spruce Street. Upon contact, officers reportedly observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. During a consent search, officers allegedly located approximately .9 grams of methamphetamine, 4.13 grams of fentanyl and 1.7 grams of psilocybin mushrooms.

The suspect was charged with a misdemeanor count of unlawful possession of a schedule two controlled substance, and for a violation amount of unlawful possession of meth. He was released after being cited.
