The Roseburg City Council will consider the vacation of a section of West Finlay Avenue and a new fee at the Roseburg Public Library as part of its meeting Monday night.

A Public Hearing on vacating the last approximately four hundred feet by twenty-five feet section of the road behind Finlay Field on the north end of the Roseburg High School campus will be voted on. Roseburg Public Schools wants to use the land it already owns to the north of the street for a softball field.

The council will consider amending the fee schedule at the library to add a $150 fee for re-keying locks associated with renting the Ford Room if a renter of the room loses the key.

The council will also vote on a request by Roseburg Disposal Company to implement rate increases for customers inside the city, effective November first.
