The Altrusa Club of Roseburg has its “Stuff the Bus” event this Saturday.

It will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Sherm’s Thunderbird Market on Northwest Stewart Parkway in Roseburg. The group is seeking new or gently used children’s books for its Celebration of Literacy, little community libraries and other literacy projects.

In the past five years, Altrusa has given out over 65,000 books to children in Douglas County. People who have children’s books that no one is reading anymore, are encouraged to donate them at this event.
