Roseburg Police cited two men for second-degree criminal trespass on Tuesday.
An RPD report said a 9:40 a.m. the men, ages 39 and 45, were contacted in the remnants of the younger man’s camp just after it had burned and the Roseburg Fire Department had put it out, on railroad property in the 2400 block of Northeast Stephens Street.
The younger man had been cited earlier in the morning at the time of the fire, and told not to return. The second man said he was just there to help the other man out. The fire had rekindled at this point, so the fire department was called back to have them extinguish some smoldering railroad ties in the camp.
Both men were released after the citations were issued.
