Roseburg could see a new record high for the date on Wednesday. Forecasters at the National Weather Service said the mercury is forecast to reach 107 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The previous record high for August 16th was 102 degrees, set in 2008.

Roseburg got to 107 degrees Tuesday but that was not a record for the date. The record high for August 15th remains 109 degrees, set in 2020. Temperatures are expected to drop back to the mid-90s on Thursday, then stay near 90 degrees for the next several days.
