The Umpqua National Forest is hosting a volunteer trail event on Saturday.

Work will be happening on the Deer Leap segment of the North Umpqua Trail. Those participating should meet and park at the boat ramp inside of the turn-off to Toketee campground. Brushing and tread work will be taking place. The event runs from 9;00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Participants should bring their own snacks and lunch, along with sunscreen.
