MAN JAILED AFTER ALLEGED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENTS

A Roseburg man was jailed after alleged disorderly conduct incidents on Monday.

A Roseburg Police report said just after 5:00 a.m. a caller said the 53-year old was throwing branches into the parking lot of Sherm’s Thunderbird in the 2500 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The suspect reportedly ran across the roadway several times. At one point, the man allegedly ran into the road and oncoming vehicles had to swerve into the other lane to avoid hitting him.

Officers contacted the man and took him into custody. He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $2,500.
