An Oakland man was hurt in a single vehicle accident on Monday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 10:00 a.m. the 74-year old stopped his vehicle pursuant to a medical emergency and failed to put the vehicle in park. The sedan rolled away and the man became injured trying to stop it. This took place near the intersection of Northwest Edenbower Boulevard and Northwest Broad Street. The man was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center where he is listed in fair condition at last check according to a hospital spokesperson.

There was minor damage to a City of Roseburg fence. The vehicle was towed.
