Roseburg Police jailed a man for reported vandalism on Saturday.

An RPD report said at approximately 11:45 a.m. an investigation corroborated that a 30-year old Myrtle Creek man dumped a bag of food on the sidewalk and curb outside a business in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson Street and then smeared refuse on the company’s window. Officers located the suspect nearby and detained him.

The man, identified as Brenton Reedy, was charged with criminal mischief in the third-degree, offensive littering and for a probation violation. He was detained on $1,500 bail.
