A Roseburg man was jailed following an alleged menacing and harassment incident on Thursday.

A Roseburg Police report said just before 11:30 a.m. officers responded to a home in the 1400 block of Northwest Grove Street. Officers learned that a 56-year old man allegedly chased one victim around the neighborhood and the residence and made a motion like he was going to strike her. In addition, the suspect reportedly grabbed a second victim in a headlock.

The man was taken into custody. He was charged with menacing and harassment. Bail was set at $8,750. He was released later in the day.
