In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Music in the Park in Myrtle Creek is resuming their summer concert series, after taking a break last week, due to the Myrtle Creek Summer Festival.

The evening features an “all country” performance with Gretchen Owens & The Jake Brakes.

Concerts are held at Millsite Park on Main Street and run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Food vendors are on site and nearby. Those who attend should bring a blanket or chair. Dogs are allowed if kept under control and cleaned up after. The series is coordinated by the Myrtle Creek-Tri City Areas Chamber of Commerce.

Music in the Park continues through August 31st.
