Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged harassment and for a warrant on Tuesday.

An RPD report said just before 5:20 p.m. officers contacted the 51-year old in the 400 block of Northeast Hewitt Street regarding an incident in which he allegedly grabbed a victim’s hand and caused a scratch. The suspect also had a warrant from a previous case.

He was charged with harassment and for the warrant. Bail was set at $12,500.
