Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported trespass incident early Monday.

An RPD report said just after 1:15 a.m. officers contacted employees at Sleep Inn in the 2800 block of Northwest Edenbower Boulevard regarding the ongoing issue. Officers learned that a 54-year old, who had been previously trespassed, had returned onto the property.

The suspect was taken into custody. During the search of the man’s person, officers allegedly found a bag of methamphetamine in his pocket. He was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and cited for the violation. The man was detained without bail.
