Troopers with Oregon State Police investigated a freeway accident early Wednesday morning.

An OSP report said shortly before 2:30 a.m. fire personnel indicated that a southbound pickup had been in a single-vehicle accident near the south Cottage Grove exit. When the trooper arrived, he found the vehicle with the keys locked in it, but no driver was in sight. The license plate that was on it came back as belonging to another vehicle.

A tow company responded and removed the vehicle.
