A Roseburg Police officer walked into a camp in the 1800 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway on Monday which was occupied by a 41-year old man and his pit bull puppy.  At 9:40 a.m. the dog allegedly aggressively charged at the officer as it was off its leash. A taser was deployed on the dog.

The man was able to gain control of the dog after the incident. He was educated on the dog leash law and was issued a citation for violating that city ordinance.
