They are Mike Fieldman, Daniel Endicott, Thomas Dole, Kevin Wene’, Celia Vander Velden and Tom Michalek. Fieldman and Vander Velden will be interviewed virtually, with the rest being interviewed in-person. Interviews will begin at 5:30 p.m.
At 7:00 p.m. the regular meeting will begin and an appointment will likely be made.
The agenda includes a presentation on the Feeding Umpqua program by Sarah McGregor of the United Community Action Network.
The council will vote on approving the purchase of three police utility vehicles for a total cost of just under $143,000. They will consider bid awards for a transmission main project on Isabell Avenue and a storm pipe rehabilitation project on Alameda and Church Avenue. An engineering services contract for work on a Highway 138 water line replacement project will be voted on as well.
The meeting will be held in the Roseburg City Council Chambers. It can be seen on the city’s Facebook page or viewed later at: www.cityofroseburg.org.
