The Oregon State University Extension Service Master Gardeners are offering a Pavilion education series, every third Thursday of the month from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Workshops will be held through October at the Discovery Garden near River Forks Park Road, northwest of Roseburg.

The series is designed for home gardeners of all skill levels and ages, including children. Upcoming topics:

*August 17th: Low maintenance, low-water requirement landscapes

*September 21st: Shrubs

*October 19th: How to plant garlic and shallots

Workshops are free though parking is limited, so carpooling is suggested.
