Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a transient following an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Monday.

A DCSO report said just after 5:20 p.m. the 53-year old generated several calls and complaints regarding his alleged disorderly behavior near the intersection of Main Street and Second Avenue in Riddle. A deputy contacted the man, warned him of disorderly conduct and trespassed him from a business at that location.

Within about twenty minutes, the transient generated more calls for similar behavior. He was ultimately taken into custody and charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. The man was detained without bail.
