In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight;

After spending years growing up in the Glide area before moving to California, nationally known musician ZZ Ward is returning to Music on the Half Shell Tuesday night.

With a fusion of blues, rock and hip-hop, Ward’s musical style continues to evolve. Her latest single is titled, “Let’s Forget About Us”.

The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Nichols Band Shell in Roseburg’s Stewart Park. Attenders can bring their dinner, along with wine or beer, or purchase a meal from the food trucks and other vendors that will be on site. Concert goers can put out their blanket or chair earlier in the day.

Music on the Half Shell is celebrating its 30th anniversary season. It is funded by sponsors including businesses, individuals and foundations. Buckets are passed during intermission and those enjoying the music can make a contribution as well.
