Harry Potter Day returns to the Roseburg Public Library on Saturday July 29th.

Library staff is inviting the community to step into a book-inspired world of wizarding fantasy and imagination.

The celebration of Hogwarts, magic and the power of imagination will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The library will transform into a fantasy world with hands-on classes including herbology, care of magical creation, tabletop quidditch and wands.

Those attending are invited to dress up and join the staff for activities, trivia and prizes at the library on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. For this special event only, parking will be available at the library as well as at the Douglas County Courthouse complex directly south of the library.

Prizes will include a full set of the Harry Potter book series, clothing, puzzles, and more. Winners must be present at the time of each drawing. The grand prize is a Harry Potter-themed quilt. All attendees age eighteen and under are eligible to enter the drawing which will occur at 12:00 p.m.
