Saturday was the hottest day of 2023 so far for Roseburg.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said the mercury reached 101 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. Saturday’s high was just shy of hitting a new record for the date. It got to 104 degrees on July 15th in 1938.

July 4th was the second hottest day of the year when it got to 98 degrees. Friday’s 97 degree high was the third hottest day for 2023.

Highs in the Umpqua Valley should range from the mid-80’s to the mid-90s for the next week.
