Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged stalking incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said at approximately 4:50 p.m. a victim in the 600 block of Northeast Clover Avenue, found a cell phone taped under the padding of a child car seat, which is used by the child she shares with the suspect, against whom the victim has a restraining order.

An officer traced the phone to the suspect and arrested him on charges of unlawful use of a global positioning device and for violation of a restraining order. The 51-year old was detained on $5,000 bail.
