Sutherlin Police jailed a man Wednesday for an alleged theft that occurred on Tuesday.

An SPD report said several items were taken from a business in the 1200 block of Duke Avenue just before 7:30 p.m. 18-year old Chance Ketchem was contacted later and was allegedly found to be in possession of some of the stolen items. Ketchem was charged with first-degree theft, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and for second-degree criminal trespass.

Bail was set at $57,500.
