Myrtle Creek’s Music in the Park summer concert series continues with a special event on Thursday night.

A karaoke contest will be held at Millsite Park starting at 6:00 p.m. Mike’s Mobile DJ will host the event, which will have four age categories. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each group.

Those attending should bring their own lawn chairs or blanket. Food vendors are both on site and nearby. Dogs are welcome, if kept under control and cleaned up after.

The series continues through August 31st. It is coordinated by the Myrtle Creek-Tri City Chamber of Commerce.
